Yes! Salt Lake Paws is fully insured through Pet Care Insurance (PCI). We’re professionally covered for dog walking, pet sitting, house sitting (even when pets aren’t present), pet taxi services, basic training, and daycare—giving you complete peace of mind.


2. 🐾 What services do you offer?

  • 🐕 Dog Walking: Personalized outings from neighborhood strolls to canyon hikes.
  • 🏠 Pet Sitting: Drop-ins or extended stays for meals, meds, and companionship.
  • 🔑 House Sitting: Reliable care for your home and pets while you’re away.
  • 🚗 Pet Taxi: Safe rides to vet appointments, grooming, or the trailhead.
  • 🎓 Pet Training: Basic training with positive reinforcement only.
  • 🦴 Daycare Services: Flexible daytime care while you’re at work or out.

3. 💵 What are your rates?

Our pricing includes travel zone considerations, based on actual driving distance:

  • Zone 1 (0–10 miles): $0.00 travel fee
  • Zone 2 (10–20 miles): $10.00 travel fee
  • Zone 3 (20–30 miles): $20.00 travel fee

5. 🎓 What qualifications do you have?

Pat is a former zookeeper with an AZA background, animal first aid training, and years of hands-on experience working with dogs, cats, birds, and exotics. Your pets are in knowledgeable, compassionate hands.

Absolutely! We offer free meet-and-greet sessions so you and your pet can feel confident and comfortable.

We have a clear emergency protocol. You’ll be contacted immediately, and your pet will be taken to your preferred or the nearest emergency veterinarian as needed.

We’re based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and serve surrounding neighborhoods and trails. Travel zones are based on actual driving distance—not a straight-line radius.
Zone 1 is centered around Foothill Village, which serves as our home base and reference point for local service.
